LOCKVIEW BAND PERFORMANCE
Our grade 3-5 students enjoyed a performance from the Lockview High School band students on Wednesday.  It was also nice to see that students remembered some of the things they learned in music class with Ms. Ripley-Davis.  They were asked about families of instruments and were able to list types of instruments – very impressive!

GRADE 3 FREE STRINGS PROGRAM
Families should have received an email about the strings program for next year.  There will be a strings performance for our grade 3 students on Wednesday, June 8 so that they have a better idea of what to expect.

FROSTY FRIDAY
Our first Frosty Friday went very well and all students received a treat at 9:45, which is just after our outdoor recess time for our grade primary to five students.  We look forward to seeing what next week’s treat is!

SCHOOL MESSENGER SAFE ARRIVAL
Please note that the school messenger safe arrival app and phone line are directly connected to the contact information (phone and email) that we have recorded for you.  If you use a different email or call from a different phone number, the service won’t work.  If your contact information has changed please be sure to let us know so that we can update our system.  Thanks.

WATER BOTTLES
Please send a refillable water bottle every day.  As the weather warms up it is important that students have a water bottle with them to keep hydrated.

TICK CHECK
Please be sure to check for ticks each day as we have had some reports of ticks already this year.
