Hot Lunch Options: 

1. The Lunch Lady - Tuesdays and Thursdays, which can be ordered at www.theLunchLady.ca  There are lots of choices, hot or cold, and they can modify meals to accommodate allergies, sensitivities and food preferences.  Check out the attachment in case you missed it earlier in the year: Lunch Lady Welcome letter 2022 (1).pdf 

2.  Pizza Slice (cheese) from Wellington Pizza – Wednesdays.    The cost is $3.00 for one large slice of pizza. The due date for this first order is Friday November 25, 2022. Do not combine orders; do a separate order for each child.   This order will start Wednesday December 7 - January 25, 2023.  LATE ORDERS will NOT be accepted.  No refunds will be issued on days missed.

Pizza is to be ordered online through an electronic payment system.  If you haven't registered yet- click on the link: http://hrce.schoolcashonline.com.  Make sure you add your child(ren).  Once you've registered, you can see the pizza order.    Need support? Child & Youth Commission:  As part of the recommendations from the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Restorative Inquiry, the Government of Nova Scotia is creating an independent Child and Youth Commission.  The Commission will help promote and protect the rights and well-being of children and youth in Nova Scotia. They will review programs and services for children and youth, including services provided by the Department of Community Services, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Department of Justice and Department of Health and Wellness.

Families are invited to take part in the on-line survey, which is open until Nov. 24 -  https://novascotia.ca/child-and-youth-commission-engagement/

Important Dates:

November 29 – Report cards emailed home

November 30 – Parent/Teacher interviews 5:00 – 7:00

December 1 – No School

Parent/Teacher  interviews (afternoon, 1:00-3:00) and PD for staff in the morning

December 2 – No School due to PD

December 15 – Holiday concert

December 16 – Holiday Bazaar (more information to come from the PTA)
