What’s Happening at Holland Road Elementary– December 8, 2022

Spirit Days:  Our theme tomorrow, Dec. 9, is Holiday Colours so wear colours that represent your holiday of choice such as Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas or anything else!

Food Drive:  Thank you to the families who were able to support our Food Drive, it is very much appreciated.  The food will be picked up tomorrow morning (Fri. Dec. 9).

Concert Tickets:  Every family will receive 2 concert tickets on Monday, December 12.  If you’d like any extra tickets, please email Sophie Day at sday@hrce.ca.  They will be available on a first come basis.

Raffle Tickets:  The PTA is having a raffle draw for front row seats at one of the concerts, along with a parking space.  Hopefully, you understand that the tickets that were sent home are optional.  If you’d like the chance to win this prize you can choose the number of tickets you’d like to purchase – one, two, or more (if you’d like to request more).  You can send in the tickets and money with your child.  The draw will be made on Tuesday, December 13 at 1:00.

BusPlanner Text Messaging:   Does your child ride the bus? Text messaging is now available through BusPlanner! To ensure compliance with Canadian Anti-Spam laws, you must opt-in to receive information by text message. You can opt-in by logging into BusPlanner Parent Portal.
By opting in, you will receive texts from BusPlanner, including late notifications, general notices, and bus cancellations due to inclement weather.
