Halloween Howl: We’re getting closer to the Halloween Howl and students are getting excited! In case you missed the previous email, it’s taking place Thursday from 6:00-8:00 (younger students from 6-7 and older students from 7-8). Please note that children must be supervised by an adult! Big thanks to our grade 5 volunteers for signing up to help in the Spooky Library!! If any would like to do a second 30-minute shift, or haven’t signed up yet, we need volunteers for the first half hour from 6:00-6:30.
Parent volunteers are still needed for this event - click on the link to see what’s available: https://volunteersignup.org/TXWX3
Lunch Program: If you haven’t ordered lunch, you need to do so by tomorrow, Wed. Oct. 23, at noon. Parents/Guardians can visit www.nslunch.ca to create an account and place an order. This is for a 2 week block starting Oct. 28. The provincial lunch program is affordable and free for those who need it. It is confidential and we cannot see how much families have chosen to pay.
Running Club – Grades 3-5: The last Cross Country Meet takes place at Cavalier Drive Elementary tomorrow, Wed. Oct. 23. For those going, try to be there for 3:00. We’d like to thank Mrs. Sinclair and Mrs. James for organizing the Running Club and taking the time to go to the Cross Country Meets. The students have loved it!
Comfy Cozy Day – Nov.1: On Friday, November 1st, all students are invited to wear they pjs or comfy, cozy clothes. It’s a nice way to end the week
