Grade 5 Closing: As a reminder, there is a Grade 5 Closing Ceremony on Friday, June 20 at 12:00 and family members are welcome to join us. We will be having a short assembly, with students receiving a certificate, and there will be cake afterwards.
Nova Scotia Loyal School Voucher Program: For the second year, the Government of Nova Scotia has partnered with the Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia. Vouchers will be given to each student in NS to use at participating farmer’s markets. See the attachment for more info: NS Loyal Voucher Info..pdf Each student will receive their $10 voucher tomorrow, Thursday June 19.
Field Day: Our field day has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, June 24 due to the forecast for tomorrow. Grade pre-primary to grade 4 students will be going outside in grade level groups to participate in various activities for 1 hour 15 minutes. Grade 5 students will be leaders, running the games and taking small groups to various activities on the field.
Library Books: If your child has any library books at home, please return to the school as soon as possible.
Spring Fling Success: A big thank you to our PTA members for their time and effort in planning for the Spring Fling. It was a huge success, as well as a lot of fun! It was so nice to see all the happy faces from our students! We would also like to thank all the families and staff who volunteered, as well as those who were able to attend the event. We couldn’t have done it without all the support!
