Dear Holland Road Families,
We are excited to announce that our annual Terry Fox School Run will take place on Monday, September 28th! Rain date will be Tuesday, September 29th. In 1980, Terry Fox inspired a nation during his Marathon of Hope, showing us that remarkable things are possible through courage, determination, and unity. By participating in this annual tradition, our students learn the power of setting goals, helping others, and keeping Terry’s dream of a world without cancer alive. Students will head outside after lunch to run or walk laps around our school field in two staggered grade cohorts. Students are invited to wear red and white to celebrate Terry's iconic place in Canadian history—and ensure your child wears comfortable sneakers for running on the field!
Fundraising Goal: Last year, our school community raised $213 for cancer research! This year, our goal is to reach $500. Every contribution, big or small, helps move us closer to the finish line.
