Morning Drop Off Concern:
As a reminder, student safety during morning arrival is a shared responsibility for our entire school community. Concerns have been brought to our attention regarding increased traffic congestion and some unsafe driving practices during drop-off times, including vehicles stopping in “No Stopping” areas and entering the bus loop or driveway during busy arrival periods.
To help ensure a safe environment for students who are walking, and for buses arriving at the school, we ask families to follow posted signage and avoid entering the driveway until after 8:00. It’s also important to drive slowly! Thank you for supporting a safe start to each school day.
World Down Syndrome Day – March 21:
World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated each year on March 21, gives us the chance to recognize those with Down syndrome and the awesome contributions they make to our school communities. It’s an opportunity for families, students, and staff to strengthen inclusion, acceptance, and belonging. By celebrating differences and promoting understanding, our schools help create welcoming environments where every child feels valued and supported.
