Holiday Concert: Have you received your concert tickets? If not, they were sent home today, so please be sure to check your child’s message bag or backpack. If you requested additional tickets, those should have been included as well.
We held a drawing for front row seats, with one winner chosen from each class. If you were selected, you should have received special tickets sent home with your child. If you're unable to use the tickets, please let us know, and we will conduct a re-draw. Congratulations to all of our winners!
Annual Food Drive: Holland Road Elementary School is collecting non-perishable food items for the Lions Christmas Express Food Drive. Last year, 80-100 families in the Fall River community were supported and this couldn’t be done without your support. If you have anything to send in, the last day is Friday, December 13. The Lions Club will be arriving that morning to pick up dontations.
Holiday Bazaar: We are grateful to our PTA and all the volunteers who will assist with this event. There are many ways to help, including setting up, cleaning up, wrapping gifts, and assisting students in finding that perfect gift. It’s a fun event, and the reasons students give for choosing their gifts are often very heartwarming!
There are still some volunteer spots available, so if you’re able to help, please click on the link:volunteersignup.org/QDTRW
We appreciate the donations that have been sent in so far! However, we still need many more items to ensure this event is a success for our students, so please continue to send them in.
As a reminder, students should bring gift tags with the names of the family members they are shopping for, along with their name. We ask that students shop for their immediate family members, but if time allows, they may have the opportunity to shop for others towards the end of the day. Each gift is $2 and we ask families to send in exact change, if possible. (If for any reason your child doesn’t have money, please rest assured that they will not go without).
Spirit Days: The theme for Friday is Hat Day and students are encouraged to wear any type of hat or decorative headband.
