What’s Happening at HRES – Nov. 15

Holiday Concert Schedule – December 11 (Snow Date December 12)

Dismissal Changes:If there is a change in dismissal, the best way to ensure we get the message is to send in a note.  If you send an email to your child’s teacher, there is a possibility they may be absent and not get it or if it’s sent during the day they may not see it in time. 

Inclement Weather:  It is HRCE’s goal to communicate any changes to the regular operations of schools and/or buses as close to 6:00 a.m. as possible. An announcement could be:

• All schools are delayed in opening by two hours and bus pickups are delayed by two hours; or  
• All schools are open, but some or all busses are not operating for the day; or 
• Some schools (either individually or by family) are closed for the day (our Family is Lockview); or 
• All schools are closed for the day.  

If weather deteriorates, or is forecasted to worsen throughout the morning, there could be an announcement for early dismissal.  This takes place around 11:00.    Please be aware that if there is an early closure, students cannot be sent home until we’ve communicated with all families.  To help with this, if possible, email your child’s teacher to let them know you are aware that there is an early dismissal and what the dismissal plan will be (picked up or taking the bus).  Students who go to Inner Strength will need to be picked up since Inner Strength is not open on snow days.

Nov. 19 – PTA meeting at 6:00

Nov. 22 – No School – Assessment and Evaluation Day

Nov. 26 – SAC meeting at 6:00

Dec. 3 – Report cards emailed home

Dec. 4 – Student Progress Conferences 5:00-7:00 

Dec. 5 – No School:  Student Progress Conferences 1:00-3:00
