What's Happening at HRES - Sept. 20

Dear Families, 

There are a few things to take note of:

Forms to Return:  The following forms were sent home today and we would like them returned by Friday, if possible:

Registration Form – It’s important to check it carefully to ensure that all information is current and correct.  Please make any necessary changes and highlight them so that we can update our system. 
Mid-Day Closure Form
Acceptable Use Policy Consent Form – This provides consent to share your child's picture on our sharing platforms used in school (twitter, school webpage). Please be sure to check the box to indicate whether we have permission or not.

School Messenger Safe Arrival: To clarify some confusion - families will have two choices when reporting their child’s absence - full day absence with notification OR multiple day absence with notification.  (Up to 5 consecutive absences can be entered).   Even if your child is arriving late, you would still report it as a Full Day Absence.  This lets us know they are not at school, and they’ve been accounted for.  When students arrive, the absence will be adjusted at the office and changed to late. 

Parent Teacher Association (PTA):  Our first PTA meeting will take place virtually on Monday, September 26 at 6:30. Send an email to pta.hollandroad@gmail.com and they will add you to their list, as well as send you a zoom link.

Picture Proofs:  Hopefully you received your child’s picture proof – our photographer is very quick!  If re-takes are needed, please email your child’s teacher to ensure they don’t get missed.  Picture re-take day is Sept. 26.
